TOOLEX is a full service nation-wide job shop/machine shop.  We make parts for various industries such as oil/gas, aerospace, naval & numerous commercial type applications.  Highly competitive, we are capable of handling large volume items as well as supplying one-off jobs.  Some customers have been locked in to specific suppliers so we also work with those customers to reverse engineer parts so that we can supply them with a less expensive same quality option. 

Aside from our off-the-shelf products, we regularly build custom tooling, made-to-order. Some examples include, “special or non-standard threads” on standard heads, reconfiguration of cartridge/insert patterns on solid bore heads, as well as Internal and External Exhaust Trepan Heads. We have also been successful in designing and retrofitting Trepan machinery. This service includes assessment, recommendations, drawings, reverse engineering and machining the products required.

Turning is a machining process used to make cylindrical parts, where the cutting tool moves in a linear fashion while the workpiece rotates. Commonly performed with a lathe, turning reduces the diameter of a workpiece, typically to a specified dimension, and produces a smooth part finish.

TOOLEX's sophisticated turning center can provide a variety of precision machine parts. TOOLEX can turn large diameters up to 25.00” diameter.

The machining process of using rotary cutters to remove material from a workpiece by advancing (or feeding) the cutter into the workpiece at a certain direction. The cutter may also be held at an angle relative to the axis of the tool. Toolex also offers the latest in 5-axis machining on the brand new Haas UMC 750 Machining Center.
